I had written that I have instinctively been attracted to Peridot for the last few weeks and would explore the significance of this crystal. Check here to see a picture of this absolutely lovely spring green crystal that is so light and joyous to look at. Interestingly, that’s exactly what Peridot is about.

A string of Peridot worn to raise vibrations.

Peridot opens you to giving and receiving. Coincidentally, I published a transcript of a speech about giving and receiving a couple of weeks ago. It is a very heartening read.

Peridot is a stone of lightness and clarity. Peridot gives you an optimism that helps you delight in little things. It supports you in feeling a confident joy that you have something to give. You are reminded about how beautiful you are and how beautiful the world is.

It alleviates negative emotions like jealousy, irritation and resentment and enhances confidence enabling you to take responsibility for your own life.

It works on the Heart Chakra and the Solar Plexus chakra. The areas of healing in the physical body that are benefitted by it are the heart, lungs, thymus gland, liver, gallbladder, spleen, metabolism and skin.

On the emotional level Peridot clears the way for your heart to feel and helps you understand relationships with honesty and integrity.

When working with Peridot, the archangel to be called is Archangel Raguel. His name means ‘Friend of God’ and he heals misunderstandings and brings harmony to relationships.

Peridot’s message is, “… I share Divine miracles and beauty with you by intensifying your Manifestation abilities and acting as a guide in realizing that which you hold closest to your heart…

The affirmation that enhances the effects of Peridot is, “Inner Joy lights my way, and I share that joy with others.”

Enjoy your heart chakra opening with Peridot 🙂
